A Fort Myers Beach resident returned home from vacation to find the locks on her apartment changed and jewelry and other belongings missing, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

July 19 Police issued a summons for careless driving to 27-year-old Melanie A. Greco of Staten Island, N.Y. after she ran off Union Valley Road and struck a utility pole, snapping the pole in half. Greco was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital.
